The Compass has a generous friend who is willing to add to a new donor’s gifts with a $50 donation.  That means if you give a gift of any amount as a first-time donor to WCRH your gift will have an additional $50 added to it.  First-time monthly givers will also have the additional $50 added along with their pledge.  If you have never given a gift to support The Compass, we need to hear from you today!  Let’s meet the challenge with 100 first-time donors!

WCRH, The Compass at 90.5 FM, is a listener-supported Christian radio station serving Hagerstown, Frederick (91.1), Cumberland MD (103.5) and Newville, PA (102.5), Chambersburg, Waynesboro, Shippensburg, PA, Martinsburg, WV, Winchester, VA, and the surrounding four-state area.

Contributions made to WCRH are fully tax-deductible and our parent organization, Cedar Ridge Children’s Home & School, Inc. is an approved 501(c)3 organization. We make every effort to promptly acknowledge your gift with a receipt. DAY SPONSOR  – Would you like to cover the broadcasting costs for either a full or half-day?  Day sponsorships have been for birthdays, anniversaries, memorials, pastor appreciation, grandkids…just about anything.  Full-day sponsors receive 16 acknowledgments through the day while half-day underwriters receive 8 in either the AM or PM.  Click here to reserve your full or half-day!  (if your day is already reserved by another listener, we will have to get back to you for an alternative date – call us for immediate date verification)

Wayne Shepherd has been on The Compass in many different forms from program host, cohost, and participant in National Day of Prayer events and Promise Keepers. Wayne’s involvement with so many ministries just points out the overabundance of talent he uses for God’s kingdom.  Wayne joins us again this year because we can’t do Sharathon without him!  Wayne has two adult children, a grandchild who is a worldwide traveler, and Wayne lives in the Chicago area with his wife, Becky.   Both are Cedarville University grads! *Wayne is scheduled to be on Wed. Emmitt Fowler
Emmitt Fowler serves as Associate Pastor at Christ Community Church in Little Rock, AK. He served 15 years with FamilyLife as Director of Broadcast Relations. Emmitt met his wife Jane while attending Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska. Emmitt and Jane were married in 1987 and have three adult children and three grandchildren. *Emmitt is scheduled on Wed. morning & evening, Thurs. afternoon, & Friday morning then mid-afternoon & evening.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Donna Leland
We welcome Donna Leeland for the 1st time to the WCRH Sharathon!
Donna has hosted music for Moody Radio since 1988. She lived through the days of placing the needle on the record and loading CDs. Technology has made the hosting less stressful and more restful. She lives with her husband Tom, retired Chicago Police Department sergeant. After homeschooling her four children, she has more time to spend connecting with her listeners. Donna is scheduled on Wednesday midday, Thursday evening & Friday morning & evening.
